THE MONKEY AND THE SKUNK

Here is my little song (sung to If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands).
THE MONKEY AND THE SKUNK

Oh, the monkey and the skunk walked the land.
Oh, the monkey and the skunk walked hand in hand.
Until the skunk looked way up high,
and saw a dragon flying by.
He got scared and sprayed his sprayed,
which ruined the monkey’s lovely day,
and made the monkey fall face first down in the sand.

So, the monkey told the skunk to go away.
Yes, the monkey told the skunk he could not stay,
The skunk cried alligator tears,
and said he’d gladly disappear,
but then the monkey cried, DON’T GO,
I’ll put a clothespin on my nose.
And now the monkey and the skunk are friends today.
